Accepting and starting a temp-to-hire job and shortly thereafter another employer (from an interview prior to the job you just accepted and started) provides you with a direct hire job offer and you go back to your initial employer asking to be directly hired and they agree.

I'm pretty sure the answer is either yes or no, but I'd need to know exactly what you're asking before getting more specific than that.

Usually, the rationale for not accepting a counteroffer is that you'll be seen as "disloyal", mercenary, out looking; and that the counter is to keep you around until you can be replaced. In this case, if your current place of employment usually does hire temps as direct employees, and they like you, and you like them, this is probably OK. But if you're "the guy" who does something important, and they feel like you held them up, you'll have to watch for someone else getting trained up. Only you know what's more likely here.

They meet my expectation. What I was asking in my topic question is that will my employer see me as disloyal and want to get rid of me later on or not in this case?

If they're willing to part with all you claim, they probably are hoping you'll stick around for awhile. Regarding seeing this as "Disloyal" I'd lean more to the side of that you can't be sure they'll dump you 1-10 years down the road in any case.

Best advice? Take the money, bonus and stuff and be prepared for anything. But don't fret about it.

generally its not the best idea to accept any counteroffer, specific situations/options can change this generality though.

Why in the world would you ask your employer to be full-time if you didn't intend to stay there?? You solicited the offer. It would really burn a bridge, in my opinion, if you didn't take it.

Essentially, you came to them and said, "I have another job, and I'm leaving unless you give me X" They said, "Sure, OBOX, we will give you X!". And then you said, "SUCKERS!! I'm out....."
