I said I was going to get a salad at lunch from a local deli and she stops me and says " Make sure you offer to get "Jack and Jill" (management) lunch each time you go out. I nearly lost my composure.
It is not my responsibility to offer lunch to anyone. Isn't this something that shouldn't be forced?

LOL
You need to leave this "$75k/year" job.
Your job is supposedly an Executive Assistant, right?
Do you know what Executive Admins have to do for their bosses?
Getting lunch is nothing.

Perhaps the announcement that you were going to this specific Deli was taken as an invitation by you to pick up lunch for others.
I urge you to simply state if necessary that you are going to lunch as you are walking out, that will save many assumptions and miscommunications.

PS ~~ Who is *she*?
My manager knew I wasn't offering anyone anything. I expect to do this when they ask while I'm working for meetings, etc.

I've been an Exec Assistant in SF and Boston. Your job description is meaningless. You do whatever needs to be done to free up time for your exec to better do their job. That can be keeping their calendar, to picking up their dry cleaning, everything in between and more.
If they travel internationally for work, your job is effectively 24/7 as well.
The end.
