That's what I was going to say. When it comes to this subject, lots of people are just dumb.
I know someone whose father would call him up on Monday mornings for God's sake, and assume he had all the time in the world to chat. But Monday was the most stressful day for his home business.
He would sometimes call him in the middle of a crucial phone conference. It doesn't even occur to these people that they could be interrupting anything important. If he didn't answer because he was busy or on the phone, his dad would demand to know where he was!
If you were really doing what you say, and making money, I don't think you'd have a roommate.

I would never provide a link to an online business I owned to a bunch of strangers on a message board. You never know what kind of crazy person would use the information for crazy purposes.
I think he means that he is the person in charge of the YouTube channel. Not that he is hosting it via his own server.
I have my own business and I work 3-4 hours per day from home and make half the income for my family. Lots of people do. I'm not sure why you would doubt that someone else is doing it. So odd.
You missed the point. Someone claiming to make a real income from YouTube isn't likely, yet is so successful at it they still have a roommate?
No one understands. I do about 80% of my work at home, and when my husband gets home you'd think I was sitting around eating bon bons all day. It's a losing battle. People who don't work at home can't understand how hard you can work while wearing a bathrobe.

His last reply states his business is playing video games and has youtube channels reviewing those games. I have seen these youtube channels they record the output of the game screen while they play they talk about what they are doing. This gives new people to the game a way to move up in levels faster because they see how that person did it. They may give a review of a new game so others can see before they buy lot of these channels are about a game called battlefield. They get paid by the number of subscribers and views youtube pays them some are able to get enough to make lots of money in the 6 figure range but only the most popular youtube channels.
It's also a huge hit with kids. I have dated several single dads who have kids that will sit and watch people playing games and putting things together for hours...all on youtube.
I wallow in it. I'll post a pic of my "office" which is my outdoor patio table with a cup of coffee. Usually there will be a cat in each chair next to me. At 3pm I simply replace the coffee with a beer as it's now my time. If it bothers people oh well.
