Without having to go back to school? I currently have an AAS degree in health information Technology. I worked in medical billing/insurance type jobs and really hate the pressure so now I work as an AR clerk for a packaging company. I'm enjoying how laid back they are and how easy the job is. However, the job itself is pretty boring and doesn't pay well (neither did my medical billing jobs and this job pays about the same).

On the side though, I am doing a fashion internship. Originally I went to FIDM in LA 10 years ago (I'm 31 this Sunday) but I currently live in Phoenix, AZ. I just started this internship, but I'm learning how to use a lot of media and presentations. Hoping to eventually do more PR type stuff like fashion styling and social media/SEO/SEM work. I'm just trying to learn as much as I can as this is way more interesting to me and it looks like with the right company, there is a decent living with these jobs.

So far from browsing job boards, I see employers asking for either a bachelors degree or a few years of relevant experience and/or google certifications. I didn't even know Google certified anything!

That said, what do you recommend? As far as I can think of, I'm thinking I should get google certified in SEO/SEM and Adwords and look into more internships. My current internship works around my schedule and I do my work for the owner of the company, from home and we meet and talk on the phone about various projects. So any other internship I do would need to be a set up like that since I work full time.

Other than that, not sure how else I can learn as much as I can, and highlight it to potential employers when I'm ready.
