I work full-time and have been completing an MS degree part-time (in person, not online). I have a single class remaining and will be finished this Fall. I've been planning to apply to other companies after graduating in December, but I'm wondering if I should start applying even sooner.
I got my current job out of undergrad several years ago by applying very early in the Fall, even though I was scheduled to graduate the following Spring. Do you think I can do the same thing again and receive a start date delayed after graduation? Or will I be expected to start ASAP since I'll be applying for "experienced" positions and not fresh-out 0 experience positions?

I have 3 classes to go in my M.A. and I have already started applying, I have had one call back so far. I will be done at the end of the year with the degree. Like you I started applying for jobs before I finished my undergrad and my first day of work was literally the day after graduation and I still had 1 summer class I had to do that summer. I do not think that it hurts to apply early.
