My husband was a truck driver for 20 years accident free until a few weeks ago. He had been with the current company for four years. A car darted in front of him causing him to swerve and when he did his load shifted and tipped his tractor and trailer on its side. Of course the car went on it's way not even realizing what they caused. No witnesses. The state trooper gave my husband a ticket of improper use of vehicle because they have to put something right? Trucking companies always terminate for accidents unless you weren't at fault and even then they still usually find a way to let you go.
So what can he put on his applications? If he puts terminated, they won't give a second glance. If he doesn't list the company he will have a four year work gap and that isn't good either! How can he get past this on applications? He is just trying to get entry level work as a stocker at a grocery store or delivering auto parts or amazon packages....
