I do know that they did hire someone in July to replace me. I also know when I got hired there they had four girls. I know they could always use the upper hand. I would be willing to take the 32 hours that I had when I left with the pay that I had before getting promoted to the 32 hours.

I appreciate the advice.

I would talk with your old boss asap. That way, if he can work on something, he can get started on it. If he shuts the door on you, meaning he can't fit you back in, would you still be willing to move back? It sounds like you have the education degree to get something else down there (your old job) and keep your old job apprised should a new opening come up. I would get your foot back inside the door, (meaning city you used to live) and keep your options open...and yes I understand the office cattiness and that would drive me up the wall!

I was going to get everything together and talk to him by the start of the new mo th if I decide on going back. I have to give 30 days notice here. I mean I can always leave before the 30 days I guess as long as I pay the 2 months.

I'm still deciding if I want to call or email him.

Hi everyone!

I have decided that if I still feel like wanting to go back to my old job when I go home to visit in Thanksgiving I will see if I can talk to my old boss then. I will also have like 3 more paychecks from this job by then.
