Zero. Of course, that was when I was much, much younger (and still employed).

I think an hour. And boy did I look like it. Bedhead and all. Didn't brush my teeth, no time! Wasn't a career position. I was 18. Summer job.
Actually looked more like the customers as this was a lumber yard.

None. And I was hungover as well from an after exam party given by my college professor ( night school class). The worst part was that the hangover just seemed to intensify as the day went on - I literally thought I was going to die at my desk, especially when my co-worker offered me a cheeseburger. Urgh!

0-30 minutes, maybe once or twice.

1 hour at least 2-3 times. The worst one out of this was when I had a job where I drove overnight to different sites in my area to perform my job duties over a 10 hour shift and it was a pretty physical job. Being scared of the real possibility of falling asleep while you're driving is not a good feeling especially at night. I did not repeat that again at that job.

I've gone to work on zero sleep a few times in the last 3 months. It's hell. But, when no one else can do your job, that's just how it goes, I guess.

Personally though, I really don't understand the pride some people seem to take in getting no sleep. Getting by on little sleep isn't a good thing. It's horrible for your health. I was getting very little sleep because I was so stressed it was causing physical problems in my body. That's not a good thing. It's taken me over a month of very diligent self care to be able to sleep normally again. I don't ever want to deal with insomnia again, it's hell. Sleep is way more important than many people give it credit for, IMO.

5 is usually the least amount of sleep I'll get. I'm sure I've gotten less, but probably blocked it out of my mind.

Getting little sleep and working with large rigid conduit, or electricity is a bad mix. I worked a double shift one time and was miserable.

After a 10 hour shift I start making mistakes, and generally my work gets sloppier as I start cutting corners. This is when jobsite accidents are more likely to occur.

I have been blessed where most of my work was inside my own home on a computer. I have turned in assignments (rather good) w zero sleep that way for days. Now if you were to say the most sleep you have had if you had to meet a client away from p.c. in person, I would say maybe 5. I feel drunk if I get under 5. I know men that are terribly successful and go to work on 4 hours daily. Our president seems to only get four hours of sleep if you read his tweets. I wish that was me. But living in NYC w all the traffic you would want to be very mindful of all your steps. It can be dangerous -- car accident. So that goes w me to any city.

Zero. Stayed up until 3:00AM one time watching a lunar eclipse then decided to go for it and pull an all-nighter. I was 22 and worked at a bank, so it's not like it was a complicated job. It sucked, though!
