It helps to have a license or certification to sell a diverse number of products that customers would potentially be interested in buying from you. For example, with insurance you are more apt to make money if you sell several different types of policies than just one or two.

The great thing about sales is that if you are good and/or get in with the right people you can just about be your own boss and your own entrepreneur.

I worked in sales and I did okay, but it wasn't for me. My personality isn't for sales
It could be a great lifestyle for some people. Do some travelling and build a book of business. Later on maybe he develops clients willing to visit him on buying trips.

By “diamond” do you mean stereos and by “gemstone jewelry” do you mean crystal meth?

I personally could never make it in sales. I know myself and I am not compatible to the sales field. People that do have the right personality and skills can make a lot of money doing it.

What does it take to get rich in sales?

You have to work harder and smarter than every single person in your field.

You need enthusiasm for sales. And of course study and practice all the techniques. Sometimes you can do real well by taking territories nobody else wants, "nobody there will buy!" until you sell them. Sales, the right type, is one of the best ways to make good money.

have big boobs, oh my god thats a sexist remark, yes it is but it true, to becomes rich in sales you got to have a gimmick to get people to talk to you. the most successful sales people I ever seen was women, and if the women was real pretty they would get all the sales, especially if it was construction supplies, like lumber, concrete, building material.

the problem is, its true
