Someone who grew up in a union household with union sympathies or someone who votes Republican in every election and has major corporations as clients.

It's not difficult to check party affiliations.

Do you think that one of these lawyers would protect an employees rights with a little less vigor or jealously?
i don't do my business based on what political affiliation someone has..Their record, performance, etc are the important things

I don't care what party he/she belongs to as long as they are good!

It's the lawyer's responsibility to give his client the best of his ability.

When I read the title of this thread, I thought it was a joke!

Do Republicans actually only care about big business? Of course not! Neither are all Democrats for the little guy. Not even close. Do you seriously believe that Democrats don’t have major corporations as clients? If you believe that you have zero idea about how things really work in America.
My first line doesn't say boo about the Democrats. I've always said that the Democrats are the Republican party lite. It's you who are locked into the two party system, not me. Have you looked at the tax plan and who supports it?

So you think that it is that black and white.
You the little guy hired this super lawyer. Gave him a ten thousand dollar retainer to sue this fortune 500 company. You know what happens? The fortune 500 company legal department gives super lawyer fifty new cases. His law firm finally gives him a partnership. Does he turn around to the fortune 500 company and say sorry there is an ethical violation? Absolutely not. Super lawyer finds out and says to you that they were already doing business with the fortune 500 company and you are the ethical violation with apologies of course. Super lawyer sends you a check for $600 because that is what is left of the retainer. Poor little guy loses again.

You're unemployed and outa luck because the big fish eat the little fish.

When you go after them you need a Nader or a Kunsler, not a guy who wall papers with fifty dollar bills.

No joke. You need somebody with the heart mind of a Socialist, not a fund manager.

I would think that a republican may have a better understanding of the laws that would screw me and be able to circumvent them better.
It's also why I would hire a former prosecutor as a criminal defense attorney.

That's like asking if you would see a surgeon who was a Republican. In law, the best lawyer wins. I'd hire the lawyer with the best record and the most satisfied clients. There are web sites that contain client reviews of lawyers, patient reviews of surgeons, etc. Do some research. Ask around to see if you can get recommendations from others you know who have used a labor lawyer. You may be able to figure out who to go to and who to stay away from.

Well, as long as the person is decent and do the job right, then I don't care what political party he or she is in.
