Post after post, the crony capitalists keep bringing up automation. Do any of the crony capitalists on this site actually realize what it costs to automate or do they just like to try intimidating less intellegent (sic) people with empty retorhic(sic)?

Crony capitalists? So if someone is a business owner or in management they are pegged crony capitalists by you? I am a business owner without any cronies. Certainly I don't get a favors from government or anywhere else.
I find the future of automation very interesting. No one knows where it will go. But I think you want to inflate minimum wages and are threatened by all the automation talk. Its coming down the pike in many different ways but to say its not going to happen because its not happening now is naive. There is no wide scale drone delivery services operating now but to say because of that it will never happen is silly.
So go ahead and push for $15 minimum wages. Unions kept pushing for higher and higher manufacturing wages in the rust belt area and now we have the rust belt, NAFTA and China dominance. Same will happen with higher wages and automation. Its not a threat but a promise.
And with it you will get your UBI. That has to be the dream of leftists so what is the problem?

Buisness will fight ubi tooth and nail, the fear is we will have full blown fuedslism with mass death and all while the ownership class gets filthier rich than at any time in human history

No, almost never. Just what ever pops in my head, but I have pretty vast experiences and education. sometimes I am wrong but not often.
It is not a complicated logic problem, as more and more jobs are outsourced, replaced with H1B and automated you either have federal govt make works programs, UBI or mass death.
I understand that the elite mentality is that once said ex employee is escorted to the door its not your problem anymore but that's not how society at large views it, especially as more altruistic people start getting tired of that dynamic. Those people have to be supported somehow or they die, as opportunity dries up the only answer for people will be political.

I don't know what will happen in a hundred years from now but for the time being the rich need the middle class to do the work and the lower class to serve as an object lesson to keep the middle class working. Plus, without hundreds of millions of middle and lower class people as consumers and taxpayers (everyone pays sales tax) how would the rich continue to create any wealth and how would the governemnt be financed? Feudalism was possible because the nobles owned all the land. You couldn't even hunt in the forest without their permission, or grow potatoes for yourself. In the US, most of the property belongs to the middle class. If economics doesn't allow the majority of them to maintain their homes, property values will drop to near zero. If people stop paying taxes there won't be enough marshals or cops to take possession of foreclosed properties. People will just stop paying taxes and their mortgages and stay put by the tens of millions and grow potatoes in their yard. The rich can only exist at the top of an economic pyramid. Unless you are looking at some Star Trek phantasy, if the pyramid goes, the rich go with it.
A successful business that actually generates income equivalent to a good job, fixed it for ya.
