One of my local Starbucks has had a "hiring" sign out in the drive-thru for months now. It says baristas start at $9 and managers at $11. They'd have to raise that barista wage by a couple of bucks to keep up with Walmart's new minimum.
It's nice to see that the employees are seeing some of these tax savings in their wallets. Good on these companies, even if it is for PR.
