customers! often the most annoying people I encounter at work!
Tonight was a very good example. We start pulling freight, and every time we go down the main aisle, we have to watch out for these two kids treating the store like a PLAYGROUND. Fighting with each other, falling back into the aisle...I was waiting for one of them to crack their head open on the concrete floor! But it's "not my place" to tell the parents to pay attention to their kids and keep them in line, you know?

I don't blame you. I have been to places where the kids are running around, destroying displays, acting up and the parents just ignore them. It's annoying for other shoppers, too. *teach your kids to behave in public!*

Things people do at work that ANNOY you.
I have a new one, I work shift work and am on-call a lot of the time, everybody has an agreement that if the on-call is on days the operators on days will cover it so the other guy can be off and do anything he wants, well I'm always covering someones on-call just like we agreed but today I was supose to go camping and the guys who should cover my on-call all took off and I got called out. I'm pretty easy to get along with and bend over backwards to help out the next guy but this is just over the top, this was the only time I asked for someone to cover me and I got shafted, I'm definatly ANNOYED, I should be sitting in the mountians instead of running the plant until 6pm, I had relitives who took off today to go with me now they are waiting until I get off tonight. Sorry for the vent.

My list and I've worked in everything from very corporate to very casual.
1. food odors - don't burn the popcorn!!! Accckkk!!!
2. when I'm clearly working, don't hover, just speak up for crying out loud!! Likewise, if you see I'm clearly engrossed in something, don't interrupt me!
3. repeating myself to peons LOL - I said it once, you nodded your head, why are you asking me again?
4. complainers, always complaining
5. men who wear cheap cologne and think they are the ****. No thanks.
6. backstabbers, gossipers, pot-stirrers
7. lazy workers that make more work for me - do your job or give me your paycheck!!
8. people who talk really loud on their calls, especially personal calls - ugh.
9. people who smell bad - please take a shower! You stink!
10. people who use the bathroom sink to clean out their lunch dishes. Gross! Do I really need to see the chunky remnants of your lunch when I'm washing my hand??
11. If you use the last of something, replace it for the Love of GODDDD!!!!
That's good for now.

Yes to whoever said about controlling your kids out in public! Grow some and be the boss! My parents never let me act like that, my own kids never acted like that and now all of a sudden we have an entire generation of poorly behaving kids. It drives me nuts.

Honestly, I'd be ticked too. I mean, here you go being the good guy always willing to pitch in and help and the one day you need the help, the other one leaves you hanging. Not cool and to be perfectly honest, I'd have a word or two with him about it and how he screwed you and ruined your day. Then, next time he needs a favor just say no.

Oh my God! Are you serious? Wow, some men have reached an all time low LOL (kidding). I thought this one woman at my job was bad! This is her fourth kids, second one since I've been here in the last year. If you listen for a second, she will talk to you about every ache, pain, drip, drop, picture, feeling, etc....she talks about it non-stop and everyone avoids her when they know she's coming.
