Just so gross...

The department trainer at my company has that annoying habit of constantly clearing his throat. Going through one of his training classes having to listen to him clear his throat every minute or so can be sheer torture. Perhaps the fact that he's a smoker has something to do with it?
I find it hard to believe that there are actually women who won't flush the toilet after using it! I thought only men were guilty of this. Who knew?
As you said, just so gross...

People who use profanity. I don't think it's called for and it shows the ultimate lack of class. I don't think highly of guys who use it at work and it is especially unbecoming of a woman who does it.

The department manager at my workplace falls into those two categories. She not only has an obnoxiously loud voice, but she is known to use mild profanity. As you said, it shows the ultimate lack of class.

The department trainer I mentioned in my last post talks at fairly rapid clip (he's originally from the Upper Midwest, but I think he's the exception rather than the rule when it comes to fast talking, as far as that part of the country is concerned). Not only do we who take his training classes have to listen to his incessant throat clearing, but we also have to put up with his rapid-fire delivery. Good thing I can listen fast!

Coworkers who cant get a clue that youre busy and stand there like statues for 10+ minutes waiting for me to get off the phone. Its gotten so bad that a few times Ive stayed on the phone for a few minutes after the phone conversation was over just so I had an extra minute or two to calm down before I talk to them, because there are days I seriously feel like yelling "GO AWAY, CANT YOU SEE IM BUSY?!?!??!"
Coworkers who come up and try and talk to me when Im on the phone. I mean, really??!?!?! Cant you see the effin phone in my dang hand?!?!?!?!?
Another thing that pisses me off is when I get copied in on useless emails. You know the type... The other day I got invited to a concert, which I declined immediately. The guy said 'no problem' and yada, yada, yada, but then he kept me in the email chain for the next 2 hours while the other 10 people went on and on and on and on about what songs they hope the band plays, what their favorite song is, etc, etc. I asked the guy to remove me from the chain as all of the 100+ emails were flooding my inbox. Ugh. I hate those.
Rotten food in the fridges at work. Seriously, clean up your crap, people!!!!! ARRGGHHH!!!
Loud talkers are the worst. We have a Hispanic "gentleman" who we work with, and we dread the minute he comes in. Im not trying to be funny by saying this, but he really sounds like a slightly deeper-toned Speedy Gonzalez. Its no joke. Anyways, he comes in and proceeds to talk to his family/friends/whatever for the first 20 minutes of work in Spanish and it is SO ANNOYING. Weve all complained that he needs to calm it down, but noone does anything about it and it really sucks for the rest of us who are trying to concentrate on other things and have to compete with a obnoxiously loud, cartoonish voice. Its harder than you think to concentrate. ;-)
I also work with a lady who just cannot say anything nice and it drives me bonkers. Everyone here complains about her and despises her, but I try and be friends with her just because I feel bad. However, lately its really been taking a toll on me as well, and I dont know how to tell her to SHUT UP already and just smile. Good grief.
People who cant park worth a crap also **** me off. We have a lady her who cannot park her truck straight for the life of her. She is so bad that she takes up 4 (!!!) parking spaces on some mornings. One morning I watched her botch a parking attempt, get out of her truck, look at the crap job she did, then not even fix it!!!! What the?!?!?!
I also cant stand people who smack their food. One guy I share a cubicle with sounds like a dang horse when he eats. Slurping, smacking, etc. Drives me nuts. Lately I got the good idea to go to lunch a little earlier than normal so I can take my lunch at the same time he does. I eat in the lunchroom, he eats at his desk and surfs the net. This way I dont have to hear it. I just hate when he goes to the vending machines and comes back with a bag of chips, I cant avoid the noise then. lol Nasty.

Hey, Steve-O, I hope you feel a whole lot better after that long rant! I don't think I'd be able to put up with any of what you listed for very long. I salute you!

These two are great, and they drive me bonkers too. Sometimes I have to leave the office and go into the restroom just to get away from stupid people before I blow a fuse and if I ever do, it won't be pretty.
I have good work ethics and when others spend time on the computer looking at videos or anything else of interest to them, it drives me nuts. If they have that much time on their hands, they need to help out the people who are swamped. So many are there for the paycheck only and couldn't care less about work ethics and being a team player.
Leaving the table in the lunchroom dirty with crumbs, grease, salt, sugar, food, and so on. I can't believe adults don't clean up after themselves. That is disgusting and totally lazy. I'd hate to live in their homes.
Of course, there are those who are absent-minded (I guess) and leave food in the refrigerator to grow black mold. Heaven help anyone should clean the microwave after they've splattered all their lunch in it. Gross to the max.
Oh and the know-it-all in the office who must be the queen bee. She corrects everyone's behavior and the funny thing is, she's the total queen of poor behavior and rudeness. Why people brown nose her is beyond my comprehension. One guy told me if I ever make her mad, just buy her some bear claws (some disgusting kind of greasy doughnut), and she'll be fine for a while. The day I brown nose anyone will be the day I have totally gone insane.

I've seen people park ACROSS parking spaces, taking up three or four of them. Know what I do? Get ahold of a friend, and we park directly in front of and behind the offender, and wait for them to come out...make sure we have a good vantage point and just watch their reaction! Then we casually stroll out to our vehicles, and just WAIT to see if the person says anything to us!
BTW, your comment about the fridge? I don't put things in the fridge at work because food gets STOLEN out of there!
