Things people do at work that ANNOY you
People who after years at the same job that just can't get the job done, they depend on others to do it for them and won't try to learn it when you show them over and over or they ask you to do something and you tell them you will show them how and they walk away, they don't want to learn it they just want you to do it for them.
Starting Monday I'm stuck with a group like this for the next 6 monthes, it's going to be a heck of a year.
Another thing is that these same folks get paid almost what I'm paid, it's such a small difference it really doesn't matter.
Another thing is that in my line of work we have plants scattered about in different areas but all here in this county, each plant has a different manager and so the pay scale is dependant upon each of them, I was rated in the top 5 in the whole of the company but yet there are people who were rated at the bottom who make more than myself, I just don't get it but it is extremely annoying.

I hate it when I see people in the bathroom and they don't wash their hands and then they go touching everything in the break room. How gross!

What annoys me:
There is a lady who sits across from me (and we have virtually nothing in common) but she feels the need to talk incessantly, in the lowest tone possible. I usually have my MP3 player going, and I will look over at her, and she will be looking at me intently, and her lips will just be flying, and I am listening to Reagae music, and have no clue what shes been talking about for ten minutes now, just smile and nod.
The guy in the cubicle behing me is some kind of attention *****, he blows bubbles YES- I SAID BUBBLES, all day long! He gives out free candy and cookies, so of course every five minutes some one is at his desk to get junk food.
Then there is the skank whos sleeping with the married guy on the next row over, and everyone knows it, becuse she sits on her cell phone whining about him to her friends!
Oh, and of course the annoying people who constantly need "help", but when you ask them a question they respond with a quick "IDK"

Number one pet-peeve - micromanagers. I think women are especially bad when it comes to this, which is why I hate working for them. Nitpicky, little stuff. They miss the big picture. And I am a woman, so there.

I can think of a few off the top of my head:
1. A certain coworker who strolls in late for her shift 10 minutes late...all of the time ("Sorry I'm late, dude. I smoked too much pot last night and didn't feel like waking up this morning.")
2. When the shifts before mine don't wash their dishes and leave them in the sink for me to wash...especially gross when there is dried up tomato sauce or something equally disgusting that is nearly impossible to wash off after it's been left to dry for 5-7 hours. I am not your mother or your girlfriend so people, please pick up after yourselves!
3. I work at a hotel, and we require guests to fill out a registration card with name, address, etc. Us clerks usually do this for them. It irritates me when the other shifts make a mistake or have to change something and instead of reaching for one of three bottles of white-out, they make a big scribble mark or cross something out. Lazy and don't want to go that extra step, and the reg card looks like crap and it's hard to read (I'm the auditor and I'm the one who has to read over everything at the end of the day...and I can't read over scribbles and crossed out s***!)
4. Speaking of reg cards, please don't have guests fill out out their name, address, etc themselves. Most people have such terrible chicken-scratch that is near-impossible to read! Do it yourself because it's YOUR JOB. Again, laziness.
5. When I have the night off and someone else works audit, please perform the functions of audit accordingly. Don't have the attitude "It's not my job because I'm not the full-time auditor".
6. At 7:00 in the morning, I'm ready to go home after an eight-hour shift. Please do not call me at 6:30 and ask me if I would "like to work longer". Hell no I do not want to work longer; besides, if is Monday through Friday I have to leave to go to classes and you KNOW that-it is not my fault you stayed up too late partying and do not want to drag yourself to work. Too bad so sad but you better get your a** here or else.
And this is just my coworkers. Don't get me started on the 'guests'.
Whew! I feel better. I need to post this at the front desk.
Thanks for letting me vent...

And this is why I love the television show The Office! IT is just too funny....like when he said he wasn't superstitious...he was just a little stitious.
