Normally, I don't get along with the pretty Left-leaning Communications Workers of America. However, I would not at all be surprised if what CWA is accusing them of is TRUE.

Older workers are accusing Facebook, Ikea, and hundreds of other companies for discriminating against job seekers in their 50s and 60s through targeted job ads posted on Facebook. From a report:
The Communications Workers of America, a labor union representing 700,000 media workers across the country, added the companies to a class-action lawsuit on Tuesday, which was filed in California federal court in December. In its original complaint, the labor union accused Amazon, T-Mobile, and Cox Media Group of doing the same thing. The case, Bradley v. T-Mobile, has major implications for US employers, who routinely buy job ads on Facebook to reach users. The plaintiffs argue that Amazon, T-Mobile, Ikea, Facebook, and hundreds of other companies target the ads so they are only seen by younger Facebook users.

The lawsuit revolves around Facebook's unique business model, which lets advertisers micro-target the network's users based on their interests, city, age, and other demographic information. In the past, equal rights advocates have sued Facebook for accepting ads that discriminate against consumers based on their religion, race, and gender. Facebook has argued that the company is not legally responsible when other companies buy ads that violate the law.

BTW, this trend is not unique to just Facebook. Nick Corcodilos of Ask the Headhunter caught Zip Recruiter admitting that they really don't care if companies post "H1B only" (ILLEGAL!) postings on their site: https://www.asktheheadhunter.com/10787/hr-ziprecruiter

Very hypocritical, for these types of guys to be discriminating against American workers and older workers, yet be screaming "We don't discriminate" and threaten states for daring to propose laws that would protect Christian owned adoption agencies and businesspeople from being sued out of existence by the Gaystapo:

Facebook is a Silicon Valley company. Silicon Valley is insular and out of touch.

They believe only young people deserve to earn a living. Just take a look at the average age of facebook employees: 28

What a shame! Shameful practices.

I was reporting multiple "H1B only" job postings per day until I realized nobody cares.

Literally nobody cares.

And if you're against the takeover of IT by H1B visa holders, you're "racist."

And if you take a look at the ad, it says "Chicago, IL" and not Iowa. The ad is fraudulent on more than one front. The job is not located in Chicago, IL.

Also, take a look at Cohen & Grigsby video about how the law firms do this "looking for H1b's only" "legally"

I found it disgusting that when Nick probed into why that ad was posted or who posted it, no one seemed to know. But someone had to compose the ad before it was posted. That ad did not just pop up out of thin air.
