Have you ever gotten fired from a job just due to apathy?

I have never had a job in my life that I shirked my duties regardless of the type of work or the low pay.
It's someone else's hard earned bank account that is going into my paycheck.

If you decide not to show up for work, I'd think about the people on the job having to cover your duties in addition to theirs for a few days.

I can definitely imagine at some jobs it would be hard not to be apathetic. If the company didn’t seem to care I sure wouldn’t. I’ve never worked a job though, just run my company the last ten years, so I guess I’ll never know. I think I’d be more likely to be fired for insubordination. I’m not really the take orders kinda guy. I’m the given orders kinda guy lol.
