Hi.. First i would like to thank you all in advance for helping and answering my question.

Situation: during month of may and half of september i was getting a ui claim.

but then i have found a job and have reported earnings and wages eventhough i have not received payments yet as that is what it says on the site. To report payment eventhough payment is not yet received. So i got hired by the job Lets call it Health1. which is the name of the company i needed to get paid for.

So come to the day of the paycheck to be given but health1 is running late on payments. Instead of paying through there company where i work which is health1". They said to me that since they are running late on payments they will just pay through their sister company "del2".

since i needed the money coz its already the week of me paying rent i said yes.

So my question is Since i reported to my ui claim that i will be receving money from "health 1" but instead got paid through the employers other company "del2" would that affect what i have reported? to think the paycheck "del2" have given is no tax withold.

What should i do?

Again thank you and hope for your reply for some knowledge.

You’re fine. EDD will see the payment and it will match the amount you reported.

Now, the fact that they were “behind” on payroll? Time to get out.

If they're behind on payroll, time to do a stealth job search (meaning don't tell anyone at work you're looking for a new job, and tell recruiters not to contact your current employer) and find another job.
