Woah yeah you didn't mention that detail before lol. It is indeed a little suspicious. Good luck proving that he's retaliating, though.

^^^^This.

Going to HR is a death sentence.

They want you gone.

Please provide more details on the complaint and what happened to the boss.

Wait. You made a complaint to HR about sexual harassment and you didn't expect anything to change? Job duties are the least of your worries.

OP, I think you need to look into some basic life skills.

Do you have an older relative you can run this by, that you will listen to and govern your actions accordingly?

You have really poor communication skills. It makes it frustrating to offer advice without the full story. This new information changes the context of the original post.

What part of "come to work early, stay late, work hard as heck, ask for more work, look like a great employee" vs. "come in late, leave early, and complain every time you're asked to do anything different" is so darn hard for you to understand?

Ok this is a list of basically what happened:

1. His wife cheated, and said previously asked me for advice on what to look for when looking at apartment since he hadn't done it in a decade and my BF and I had just done it. When I came into work the next day, expecting him to ask me some questions, he bait-and-switched the whole thing and had me go tour an apartment with him (DURING WORK HOURS)

2. We had a meeting with a director, so Boss told me, "bring your laptop to the meeting, your screen is bigger than mine" so I just said "ok" and then he goes "See, size does matter sometimes"

3. Last month, we went to a college career fair in a city that's about 3 1/2 hours away from us, so we were gonna need to stay the night (he ended up not coming and the hotel didn't happen, but that happened later). One day, he asks me 'do you want to do a single room with two beds or separate rooms?" (note: I am female, he is male... There was also going to be another male going, so instead of asking the second man to share the room, he asks his female subordinate)

4. He was telling me about some of the 'intrusive' questions he was asked when getting a clearance. Out of ALL the questions he could have given me an example of, he said, "one of the questions was asking me if I have ever watched child pornography. Of course I haven't, but then I said if I guy ever tells you that he doesn't watch porn or porn that's titled 'teens', then they're lying'

As they say, the devil be in them details.

Start looking for another job STAT and learn better life and communication skills as others suggest. OP asked for 'advice,' take them to heart good or bad.

Wow, bad situation, for sure. I agree that they want you out, so you can either refuse their demands about changing your job description, and threaten a suit if they fire you, or play along until you find another job.

My evil twin wants you to fight back, but that could really hurt your bank account and get you labeled as a troublemaker.
