A lawsuit will be useless.

My kid, who is bipolar, filed an EEOC complaint when she was fired:
Anyone been through EEOC mediation?
Anyone sued their employer and actually received cash?

1. You'll be wasting time and money.
2. It's very difficult to prove.

The best thing in this situation is find a new job. I was at a job where I was praised for my work ethics, then one situation through no fault of my own landed me on a nasty supervisor's crap list. I didn't wait until she found something to fire me on.

I left after I found a new job.

In your example, you admit it was a bogus complaint.

This thread is rife with rude comments and personal attacks. It's not worth trying to salvage. It's now closed.
