I need a sentence or two to describe my hobbies section on my CV. It should say I enjoy these things "EDM. Fashion enthusiast. Tech. Gaming." It's for an IT job.

I do not include hobbies on my CV.

If you choose to, just be honest about what they are. I don't see the difficulty.

Best of luck.

I have been on both sides of the interviewing table for over 15 years in corporate. I never included hobbies on my resume. I can't recall ever seeing a hobbies section on a resume.

Why would you list hobbies on a CV?

I can see hobbies listed on a resume, but never on a cover letter.

Yes, in some regions and areas of the country, they actually want to see "balance of life" beyond work even on resumes. Being into outdoor activities and other cultural stuff - for example - is just as important as work skills and experience. It was bizarre to me too when I first saw that, but it really goes on.

IT people don't care about hobbies. They want to know that you are technically proficient, can code, solve problems, etc. If you are on someone's team, they want to know you can carry your load and are an asset.
