Executives would be the only ones in that situation. They’re paid so well they could retire in a year or two if they lived like normal people.

I doubt anyone on this forum is in that group, or even know of any. Having that kind of status probably leads to a privileged lifestyle.

Not really; on both counts.

Most executives are not paid exorbitant amounts.

But more related to the thread, a lot of non-execs fly to work. I did it for 2 years while working in tech (non-management). But I would switch back and forth between flying daily to flying weekly and living out of a hotel.

My BIL does this and does not have a stressful life. He makes great money, great perks and an amazing family.

My husband did this for five years and enjoyed it. It did however affect his health. He gained a ton of weight which didn’t help matters any.

It’s different for everyone. Some people thrive, some don’t.
