I never had a separate business bank account when I had my sole proprietor LLC. Maybe it didn’t matter as much because I dealt with all businesses who sent 1099 forms at the end of the year, but my account never said anything about needing a separate account. You do however need a real accountant. I don’t understand why you would go to H&R Block for something like this. My accountant charged me $750 a year to do my taxes, But he was available to me the entire year for questions, and Every quarter I would email him how much I made and what my expenses were that quarter and he would send me a coupon for how much to pay for my quarterly taxes. If you don’t know this stuff inside out by yourself, you need a true expert and that is not H&R Block. Is the person you’re dealing with even a CPA?
