My life right now feels like its at a crossroads between 2 types of depression:
1. choosing to quit my job and deal with the depression of staying at home and having zero Or
2. my current depression of pretty much having a job that covers nothing else but my rent and travel expresses for going to work.
I'm really going through the most and everyday before pay day I lay in my bed and shed a tear, is it really worth it to continue with this job when I cant even afford to buy myself an ice cream on pay day let alone afford groceries and other expenses??? and no im not living above my means what I pay for rent is pretty average its just my salary is really low my friend advised me to bring this up with my boss and ask for a raise but I feel like I have no leg to stand on seeing as though im still in my probation period.
I'm not asking for sympathy I'm just hoping if someone out there has ever been in my shoes and if so how can I go about supplementing my income or getting through this.... love and positive energy are also welcome cause im really sad over all of this
I am sorry. I've been there. It is not easy. I do not know how I made it through but I did. You will too. Good luck!
Get something part time like grocery or restaurant evening/weekends, to get ahead of the bills (and maybe get free/discounted food). Save up a bit of cash, then look for a better paying job. It's a pretty hot job market right now; you might find something. What are your skills?
I worked three jobs to support myself and my kids, one full time job, two part-time jobs. 7 days a week, 14 hours per day. You do what you have to do...
