Unless this company is a market leader, it's career-stunting to spend any amount of time doing things "the wrong way". Imagine interviewing someone having put in X number of years at Wacko, Inc. for a similar position, but it's as if they're a space alien at your company.

There are lots of jobs that have high turnover. Mcjobs and sales jobs have this issue.

Either you wanted the job or you didn't. Others quitting shouldn't influence you, let management worry about that.
