Comedy writer. It runs hot and cold, though. Years can be anywhere from 30k-70k. Usually, I think of it per week, and a good week is 1k and a great week is 2k.

Still, I get paid to write fart jokes (and frequently from home) and I much rather be doing that for 45k/year than digging ditches for 70k a year.

Absolutely, me too... I've been in radio 5 years as of this past October 15th and I turn 25 on November 19th.. I wouldn't give up my career for anything.. even though the industry is really in the toilet right now.

I make about $20K a year, but I don't have a car (or gas and insurance)

Entry Level IT - Security (UNIX Analyst) - $60k / year (with incredible benefits).

I have one year left to finish my Computer Science degree, and then will probably go for my MBA. After finishing my CS degree, looking to move into Programmer position where I work, wage $125k / year, and work on my MBA to possibly become Technology Manager. Also, girlfriend working towards her Nurse Anesthesiologist degree, where she will be making roughly $150k / year. Honestly though, with my current wage, we are living paycheck to paycheck.

If youre living paycheck to paycheck on $60,000 a year.. you need to look at your expenses.

Being single, with no kids, house or car.. I could live amazingly on $60K a year!

I work as an Account Manager. I make $48,000 base salary + 15% commission.

It's in Stamford, CT. I need to "up" my base salary!

I live in St. Louis and I'm a senior office assistant and I barely make 24k a year. Not enough to live when paying daycare and taxes.

Before you know it, 1 million$ will be what's made annually on Minimum wage.

$10.000 will be the norm for a monthly phone bill.
