Do you want to give grade to your employer!!
Hi guys,
I am a newbie here and need a help from you people. Do you people know any site where employees can give review for his employer? Actually I want to grade my former employer. So other people can know about him and the company. If you people have any idea in this so, please let me know. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

This would be a good idea if it doesn't exist. You might have just made someone a lot of money.

It's a nice idea in theory, but opens up a lot of potential legal issues. While you may be saying things that are true, if there is no "proof" of something you're complaining about the company would most likely be able to get the site taken down/info removed/or press a lawsuit against the poster for slander. And with such a site you couldn't say "only good/positive comments please."

There used to be a site called "Retailsucks" where people that worked retail would post on forums about various companies. Don't know if it is still up, but the last that I heard it got shut down for a while because people were naming which companies treated their employees like crap and these companies were starting to get bad PR. Stores like Wal-Mart , Sears and Circuit City were really getting smeared pretty bad on this website.

The Vault has this, but it is geared more towards large corporations and consulting than retail jobs.

What RRBC said
Personally, I wouldn't trust them anyways. You'd either get someone who's had a bit too much of the company kool-aid talking it up or some bitter slacker that was upset for getting laid off....
The thing is, there are so many variables with work environments, it's almost impossible to accurately gauge it with a survey. You can be employed by the "greatest company evar!", but if you have an a-hole for a manager... your life will suck.

What about industry forums? I know there are numerous online forums for my position and industry, and people always post of their experiences with various companies. It's extremely easy for me to find out just about any info for any company in my industry, or to leave info for others looking for it. You should check to see if such a thing exists for your line of work, you may be surprised.

That would be cool. Sort of like the website they have for teachers in colleges all over the US.
I know a certain employer that I used to work for that I would give a great big fat F, go to jail, do not collect $200.

Re:Do you want to give grade to your employer!!
Hey buddy
It’s a nice way to grade your own employer. I know one site where you can give review about your former employer. Visit http://pastjob.co.uk/Default.aspx.here you can grade him and tell the other people about him. Tell other people about his good and not so good characteristics. The most important thing is that your personal information will not be published. Hope this information will help you.
