Ideas?
I just posted this on another thread regarding a similar question. Try U-Haul. I was hired part-time for them to answer calls from people who were stranded on the road (this is all done through the internet). You have to buy special headphones but it was a legitimate job. At the time it was 4 hour increments and you could pick what times were best for you. This was several months ago, maybe even a year, but they might still be offering this opportunity. Good luck!

I currently work for ChaCha. Ask Away.. They are a free, guide-based search company. Any user can text in or call in a question, and get a quick answer!

Pay is going to be .10 per search soon... I have been working since Monday afternoon (it is now Wednesday afternoon) and I've made $26.00. This of course is only working a few minutes here and there. I've worked a total of almost 5 hours. So an average of around $5.00 per hour, but not bad for not leaving the house. And doing it when I want to.

If you want to check into it, log onto ChaCha. Ask Away.. If you decide to sign up please use the sign-up bottom at top right, and enter my email KAF2901@aol.com as the reference email! This means you get to be on my team! We are having fun, and making money. Just be sure to read EVERYTHING before taking the SIM test so you are sure to pass.

The steps to becoming a guide are:

1. Fill out application. (remember to sign up for my team!)
2. You'll get an email inviting you to become a ChaCha guide.
3. You'll take 3 "fitness" tests, one was to see how much you'd read about ChaCha from the email, one is a "question" test basically tests common sense, and one is a typing test. Very simple.
4. You'll find out how you did on those, and if you are a guide.
5. Once a guide, and you've passed the "fitness" tests, you go on to read ALOT of material.
6. Take the SIM test (AFTER you read the material provided, and follow the steps).

Then you are a guide if you pass the SIM test, and you'll be making money. I can answer any and all questions anyone may have regarding any of it. It may sound like alot of steps, but it's not. I did it, and I'm not the best at computers! I know people who are doing this for real, and have gotten paid for it. I obviously haven't been paid yet, as I'm so new at it. But it's a great part-time opportunity. There are also bonuses, contests with prizes, and extra incentives for being a good guide!

There are lots of transcription websites too. Just do a google search for transcription. The one that comes to mind is escriptionist.com. Also you can do a search for wofk from home forums. whydowork.com is a good one. I saw someone mentioned elance, but there is also guru.com.
