I have felt very good coming out of interviews to find out that I was not offered the position. I think it came down to experience which really annoys me nowadays when companies aren't hiring as much. I'm doing what I can to gain relevant experience but with no luck.
I had an interview two weeks ago for a program that was hiring 15 people. I felt good about my chances. I felt great about my interview. However, I realize that I may have sound a bit insulting/arrogant in my interview followup email (There was a question I asked during the interview that the HR person couldn't answer so I asked through email if he could forward the question to anyone that my know the answer). The HR person even said they enjoyed the interview in the email. I really hope this did not hurt me. I was suppose to hear back from the company if I was offered the position or not. I have yet to hear back from them. I will wait until Monday to send an email inquiring about where I went wrong.
God I feel like crap!

Not sure if this is always an indicator that you are getting the job put if the interviewer discusses how often you get paid then that's a very good sign.
Before I had my current job I felt good when the interviewer discussed pay frequency because that is something you only need to know if you are going to be working at the company.

You don't need to email a company asking them where you went wrong. Thats up to you to figure that out and then learn from it. I don't think they are going to play the role of a career counselor and tell you where you went wrong.

Each HR manager is different and an individual. They each have different values and company goals.

The HR person actually went over the pay frequency and said if I were to be offered the position that I'd get paid this much. The thing is, I think he told all of the interviewees this because it is a program that will be hiring 15 people.

I think they are only telling the people that who they are planning to hire. I would be stunned if you were told that and didn't get the job
