Post News, How much skin is too much at the office?

NEW YORK (AP) -- Here's a scenario very likely to happen at a small business this summer: The owner arrives in the morning, and is greeted not only by the company's receptionist, but her exposed navel. And maybe her nose ring too.

I think that when you work at an office you should dress like you do. It is a job, not a day hanging out at the mall. The problem these days is that everybody is law-suit happy and bosses are afraid to tell women to dress more appropriately because they are afraid of it blowing up in their face.
A friend's husband hired a real estate agent to do on-site sales. She would wear low cut tops and short skirts that were shear enough to tell what color thong she had on. he wanted to tell her to dress like she was selling the HOUSES, not selling herself, but he was afraid to.
She may have been appealing to the male customers but, let's face it, when it comes to picking a house the wife is going to have at least as much say-so, and the wives were all saying "Let's get the h**l out of here!"

I once delivered to a janitorial supply company in Houston. The load was boxes of paper towels and had to be hand-unloaded. My company hires a day labor service for loads like that. Anyway, it would take a couple of hours, so I was invited to sit in the office. In the office was a man and a woman. The woman was dressed in some VERY revealing clothing. It was all I could do to avert my eyes when her movements revealed her charms. When lunch was ordered, they invited me to join them. When she got up to go get it, she made quite a show of turning towards me and putting on her street shoes...

I truly felt sorry for the man there and I'm sure glad I didn't have to work with her on a daily basis...
