Red face Nurse Educators??
I would like to apply for a nurse educator position at a medium sized community hospital's OR. My experience is 10yrs in the specialty, but never 'teaching'. Any advice on securing this position w/ the interviewer? Any certifications or internet info. centers that may help? And please tell me what the day to day 'to do' list is like.

amymcc--there is a shortage in this area of nursing. I think you should show how you keep current in your field. They probably have some staff development on working with adult learners--ask questions about that. How exciting!! Good luck to you!
