Hello, I am a 21 year old college student. Right now I am a souphomore in college. For the past year i've been working at Babies R Us. Recently, I was contacted by almost like a Temp Company. My resume was posted on Monster and they told me that there was an opening at Verizon. I was thrilled and went for the interview. Two days later the temp company called and said they wanted to propose me an offer as a sales representative of FIOS and Direct Tv. Now I have two questions.
1. Since I am being paid by this temp company not Verizon, shall i put on my resume that I work for this temp company or Verizon?
2. From your experiences, how does working for Verizon even as a simple Sales Representative look an a resume? Does it attract immediate attention on the HR Representative?

Thanks for your imputs.
First of all, congratulations on landing the job! Now, to answer your questions:
1. On your resume, put down that you work for Verizon and in parentheses (through ________) (The name of the temp agency goes in the blank.)
2. Showing that you worked at Verizon, even through an agency, should look attractive to any potential future employer's H.R. representative.
If Verizon is impressed with your performance, there could be a strong possibility that they could offer you a permanent, full-time position with lots of growth opportunities and fantastic benefits!
You need to put the temp agency on the resume as where you worked under Employers. Yet, when I decribed what work I did I mentioned the company I worked for so they wouldn't just see the temp agency.
