I did them for about a year. In that time I tested 5 products and got 3 checks. The checks were for $10, $7, and $12 respectively. I probably qualified for 100 of the surveys, all of which I participated in.

Yep. Good thing I was not counting on that as an income. It was interesting to do some of the surveys, and I don't mind offering opinions on new products. Typically each survey takes about 5-10 minutes to complete. Not everyone qualifies for each survey, sometimes they are looking for a specific demographic.

So, what do you need to give them. Your credit card info? Bank Account? What web sites should I go to?
If you don't mind?

Pinecone Research and valued opinions. Pinecone now can direct deposit into your paypal account. Valued opinions will send a paper check. I've made about $50 so far from both but am just using it for comp change..

No, if anyone wants a credit card or your bank info run like hell. I honestly can't remember the name of the company, but there are a ton of them out there. Mostly they are concerned with your gender/age/geographic region.

Yes, there are companies that pay you for completing surveys, but it's chump change. Occasionally, you may luck out and get a product test for $50-75. A lot of these companies have moved to a points system, (or worse yet, sweepstakes) where you have to accumulate X number of points to equal $10. Pinecone is one of the few that still pays cash but they have dropped their dollar amount from $5 to $3, last I heard. You cannot parlay filling out surveys into even a part-time job.

I've taken surveys for a couple years now. You sure can't make a living off it, but the extra money does help to put gas in your tank or help pay a small bill. I've made a little over $2000 plus tested lots of new products. I only do the ones that offer cash or points, i don't mess with the sweepsatake offers, because you have a very small chance to win and thats not worth my time.
