If you want to be paid to hike, get a master's or PhD in biology or geology. There are a good number of jobs doing field research where you roam around the countryside. My dad has a geology degree and spent two years living out of a tent in Wyoming doing field tests of soil samples for the government.

Just another idea...
I went into geology to "get paid to hike."
I'm working on my BS in geology. I've gotten paid to hike doing my research projects (grants). I also spent the first part of the summer this year doing field work for the Colorado Geologic Survey.

Sure you can get paid to wear logos, if you make a name for yourself by winning national or international competitions.
