As the daughter of a Naval Officer and the wife of a Marine, I may be biased but I am proud to say I'm most proud of our armed forces!
Scientists, engineers, firefighters, anyone who works in the health-care industry...but as a previous post already stated, I have the utmost respect for ALL hard and honest work.
I will give an honorable mention to teachers. They are expected to essentially raise today's youth in the classrooms. I don't know how they shell out discipline. You couldn't pay me enough to deal with some of today's spoiled brats.
i respect prostitutes the most. well, i and charlie sheen, and jack nicholson.
i even tell them that when i meet them. they think i am either joking or being sarcastic. they provide a very important and valuable service to society.
1. Cops - They put their life on the line every day and dont get paid squat.
2. Social Workers - Jobs entail trying to help others obtain life skills and like cops, do not get paid well at all. They do it purely in the interest of helping others.
