Come to think of it, this poll needs an option for disgust with the Federal government. Blue, red, it's all the same, they listen to the big money donors, not you and I. And if you worked at Goldman Sachs you are guaranteed a position with feds, because you already have the main perquisite.........the ability to lie with a straight face.

There's a difference between having little respect for a profession and having little respect for the people in that profession.

Bottom feeder 3

3: Collectors. Most violate Federal laws and never pay restitution or serve jail time.
2: Title and pay-day lenders. Abuse poor people and add to their misery.
1: "Bankers" at Mega-Banks. They do the bidding of a few fat-cats in NYC, Charlotte and SF with no independent thought other than how to lick boots better. Fortunately, they are being replaced by machines and programming code so they are reaping what they sow.

Yes, it's pretty much Dave Ramsey's list but I think the most shyster used car salesman provides more tangeble goods than all the "Bankers" combined.

I don't disrespect respect any specific position or profession.

Now, specific individuals within said positions or professions... that's different, depending on how they actually do their job.

Hardly. Banks are ramping up replacement of tellers - however, Personal Banker positions are rarely cut from retail banking locations.

And having once been a Personal Banker in college, I had no issue doing the bidding of the overlords at regional or corporate. It greatly assisted in me becoming one of said overlords.
