I am a self taught chef, I was accepted to the culinary institute of america but was unable to attend because of money and a new family.

My question is are there any Personal Chefs out there with advice on how to get into the industry with out a degree?

Without credentials or a bunch of experience, it would be very tough. Remember you are in competition with chefs that have degrees/experience. The personal chef gig is all about credentials and prestige since it is a luxury item. There is an association website on the matter, do a goog on it.

Do you work in the industry??? Bets way for you would be local reputation and positive press.

Good Luck
