Is there a food service/cafe at your workplace? If so, maybe certificates to that. Keeps it kind of work balanced and unless the cafe is horrible, I think an employee would use it sooner or later.

Gift cards are dangerous in this economy. The business goes belly-up prior to you using the card, and you are just out of luck. Of course, the gas cards and Wal-Mart cards are probably safe.

How about a Gas Gift card from a nearby gas station. Most folks drive to work.

Yeah, if the store the gift card is from doesn't go bankrupt before you get to use the card.
