Angry Bad Case of The Monday's!

What is it about Mondays that seem to put everyone in a bad mood?

If I am going to have at least 1 bad day out of the week it is going to be Monday no matter what. I come into work thinking that this week is going to be great and I feel great but no sooner I step through the freaking door and whatever can happen happens.

Does anyone out there have a remedy for the "Bad Case of The Monday's"?

No remedy.

I hate today. I hate having to work again. It's all so boring.

Well, I'm complaining, so live with it.

I feel like I live in a society where all we do is work, work, work to pay off debt, debt, debt, until we die, die, die.

I hear what you are saying!! I tell myself that all the time but my manager makes me feel like I fell off the short bus backwards... It just makes me so upset sometimes. But I am very lucky to have my good paying job with wonderful insurance.

Complaining gets one nowhere, just remember however bad it is for you now, it could always get worse in one way or another.

It's called venting and it DOES release stress. Therefore, it's not a bad thing.

Get a stress ball
Listen to some upbeat music before work
Tell yourself positive affirmations
Call in? lol

I dreaded going in to work today and even contemplated calling in but all in all...3pm-10pm was not too bad today.
I had a lot of rude people in the beginning but it eventually kind of evened out.

I am considering buying a stress ball for work for whenever I have really frustrating calls.

Yes, I get that way too even though I am incredibly thankful for my job (I love my job!) I think that's just part of life. Why don't you do something every monday that you look forward to, such as always go get coffee and browse at a bookstore or make your favorite dinner every monday (or do whatever floats your boat)? (Make it your cheat day for your diet if you're on one?) If there is always something you like about monday that's special to that day, it will be harder to "have a case of the mondays"!
