I appreciate you posting those links, as it clearly demonstrates that most people with poor credit are fully capable of doing a job, the proceeds of which can be used to pay those overdue bills.
You guys are nuts to call job-seekers "entitled", as if that's a bad word or something. You know what, if you folks keep pushing this, discriminating against applicants for every tiny little thing, the proletariat will rise up and elect a government that will look out for their interests, not yours. This might mean we'll become socialist (oh, the horror!), or maybe, if things get really bad enough, we'll have our own commie revolution like Russia did almost a 100 years ago.
You guys think you can just holding down the little guy just so you can make a couple extra bucks - you know, that's just ain't right, and "we the people" know it. At this very moment, they're working on a law to prohibit credit checks for job applicants, and when this is passed, they'll make a law to prohibit asking for facebook passwords. And when that's done, we'll make more laws - laws that will work in *our* favor, not yours.
And when you guys are crying that you can't make a dime of profit due to big guvvie regulations and whatnot, guess what, you're not gonna be getting much pity from me - in fact, I'll walk around with a smile on my face, knowing that the tables have been turned for once.
Mark my words, the employer class is about to have a huge pack of very hungry wolves unleashed from their pen, and you'd better start running, and soon...lol.
I live in Alabama-have a degree in acct.-Lost my house in foreclosure-credit rating is in the tank-cannot even get an interview for the many jobs I have applied for-now cleaning houses-what do I do? My credit history is killing me.
Why would your poor credit rating have anything to do with the problems you're having getting an interview? Credit checks (even if they are part of the hiring process) aren't run on a prospective employee until the final decision is being made.

You'd be surprised how much sh*t people will take before doing something about it.
I'd say we've got 100 years before anything significant happens, at a minimum.
unless you're handling a company's finances or have access to very sensitive data and information, i think the chances youd get your credit checked for a job are fairly slim.
Yes. Those that are careless with their finances will get what they deserve.
What if you have a Unexpected Health issue while unemployed? Then what? So it's not always being careless with your finances. Right now I have no debt but no insurance and if I was to get hit by a drunk driver then that means i will have unexpected financial issues.

Wow there are some heartless people in this world.... Everyone has issues, everyone makes mistakes and nobodys perfect... I hope you have a life where nothing bad happens to you and you have stellar credit cause eventually karma will come back to you and when that happens it wont be pretty.
