CLACTON, England, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- A 16-year-old British girl said she was fired from her office job after managers saw that she had branded her position "boring" on Facebook.

Kimberley Swann said she was called into her manager's office at Ivell Marketing & Logistics in Clacton, England, and given a letter stating that she was being fired from her job as an office administrator after she called the job "boring" on her Facebook page, The Daily Telegraph reported Thursday.

She may have been talking about her Facebook webpage and given a link to a coworker. Said coworker may have then talked about it to others, including the boss.

Or, the boss may also have a Facebook account and independently figured he'd look her up out of pure curiosity and...surprise!!

From reading the young lady's comments in the story, it doesn't sound like she has learned a thing.

Don't you have to accept someone as a friend on Facebook to see their comments?

Plus on facebook you have to become a "friend" to view anyone's page.
