Hypothetical question: You take a full time job that pays well and matches your job qualifications. However, you know in the future that your not going to be able to work those hours.
Would you take the job how would you approach the situation?
No. Do not assume anything outside of what is offered/described to you. Do not assume you can negotiate terms down the road. Your employer will see this as bad faith. I have seen it happen often.
Down-the-road negotiations nearly always end badly, unless some circumstances have changed that caused the renegotiation. If you know now that you won't be able to work those hours in the future, you need to mention it now. However, if something happens in the future that changes your availability, that will be an easier discussion to have (but could still nonetheless end badly).
I have one last shot of full time hours. It's a rotating shift. I know they have night positions, but it's a rarity. I a thinking of withdrawing my application because I know in 2 year's either going to have to go part time or work nights.

2 years?? Long, long time...so much can change. Don't worry about two years from now. Take the job.
Two years is too far off to worry about it. If you want a night shift let them know after a year you have been with the company you are interested if one comes up
I agree with everyone else; so much can happen in the next two years.
