I happened to get free admission to a trade show (retail value $75), to an industry I am trying to break into.
I am using this as a networking event.
I am just hoping the other attendees are as well!
Has anyone ever gotten a job or job lead at a trade show or conference before?
It maybe an option for those in transition as well, if you have never tried it before.
Go to learn, imitate, inspire, change, observe the nuances, change your sales pitch, read industry literature, names of companies, ....if you walk away with a job,,,, all the better or a lead... all the more impressive.

ANY GOOD NEWS, yet? Iarch? from your experience...
I recently went to a national conference in December and am now training for a part-time gig I can do from home. It came about from talking to a vendor at some length and then meeting somebody else from the same company at a reception.
Definitely go and talk to people - if you can, have a card with your info or something you can hand out to others.
