On a serious note: If you are looking for employment, I found these to be insightful as I have (sadly) made a few of these mistakes including using Microsoft Publisher to create my resume - it doesn't translate well in any e-mail or on-line posting application. Fortunately, I had a human resource vp tell me about the problem - he said he almost didn't even read mine but a "industry term" they were looking for popped out at him so he gave it a second look. Happened twice actually before I was able to correct it.
