Has anyone worked for the Federal Reserve Board or have any insight into it? I'm considering either their Financial Analyst/Bank Examiner role or that of a research assistant to the PhD economists. Does anyone know how competitive these positions are or what the recruitment process is like? How about the work environment in the Fed itself?
Also, their website seems to indicate that these positions are in DC but are there a lot of entry-level positions available in any of the the other districts?
