At the end of the first decade of the 21st century, the question is not whether we will preside over the creation of a New World Order, but whether America's decline is irreversible.
Of course America is declining, it's inevitable. The greatest civilizations ever known have all tumbled one by one, and the U.S. is no exception. Acknowledging this doesn't mean I hate this country, far from it. I simply don't care enough to hate it.

Of course they are--thus my analogy ("Dog" = Jobs, "Dog's Tail" = Health Care). Obama's plan will never work unless the American middle class--and this includes the manufacturing base--is rebuilt. This will never happen so long as the U.S. continues to be owned by and run solely for the sake of multinational corporations (including insurance companies), rich lawyers and doctors, and Wall Street.
Countries where socialized medicine works (albeit in a flawed way--there is no perfect system) have not already gutted their middle-classes through greed.

If you haven't seen "Fall of the Republic" by Alex Jones it's well worth a watch. I don't particularly like Jones, but it's very well done and, if you watch with discernment, contains far more "wheat" then "chaff."
