As some of you may have heard, I have a seasonal review coming up tomorrow. My job will let me know if I will stay and continue to work for them after the holidays.

Today three of my co workers got their review. The strange part? NO ONE was told if they would stay. They said they all got a review and were told that they would be called in a few days.

Why would they do that? They told me that the reviews were supposed to be to let you know if you will stay on board!

Makes me nervous about my review tomorrow.

Because they haven't made up their mind yet. Because they haven't worked up the guts to tell you that you are being fired. Because your reaction in the review is part of what decides if you keep your job or not. Because they don't have their termination papers in orders. Because a performance review is a performance review.

A lot of reasons. Just another example of an employer that doesn't think or care about the way their actions affect their employees and/or their reputation.

They may be waiting to see how many hours can be offered and how many positions these hours will cover.
