I don't even know that I want to do this job, as it involves standing on one's feet eight hours a day (I don't know I can do this), but there is a 12 week program to be a pharmacy technician at the community college that costs less than $1000. I need something fast and quick and a job. Would anyone else do this?
Do they need Rx techs in your area? Have you called the local pharmacies and/or hospitals to see if they are hiring? I know a couple of techs with a large company that have recently had hours cut back. Don't spend the money for nothing...
If there's work, sure, I'd do it. I know people who have done it. Best wishes.
