I'm in sioux falls SD.It has low unemployment but its a very tough job market.Way to many out of work people applying for the same positions.Even the meat packing industry is getting picky about applicants.

FWIW it was on craigslist (both times) within a year of each other. It is a crappy company, which is why she is leaving. It was a temp job to bide her time.

Many highly skilled folks with science degrees and masters are still applying, people are desperate. But less desperate than 12 months ago. It's getting better. When unemployment runs out (or you don't qualify) you have to pay the bills somehow. Eventually you have to take what you can if you still want a roof over your head.
