Anyone have any info regarding this degree, job, etc? I've looked for a forum similar to this one on NRA's and ACA's website, but nothing... Specifically, I'm considering moving to Albuquerque, Denver or Phoenix after graduating. Anyone know which states need RCs the most?

Do you have this degree or are you considering pursuing this degree? I have my masters in Rehab Counseling and already had in mind what I was looking for. Some of your options include working for a state rehabilitation department (CA has a department of Rehabilitation and they have some openings throughout the state for their Senior Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor). You also could look at non-profit organizations that provide vocational rehabilitation counseling services. Finally, you could check with local colleges and universities as they often want a masters in counseling (however it is highly competitive within CA ... Not sure what the prospects are in Albuquerque, Denver or Phoenix.). Those are just a few options that I could think of off the top of my head.
